The iPhone allows you to take a photo or video within the message and share it with another MMS device. The photos and videos that are sent by the other party in the message can be saved to the Camera Roll album. If your carrier does not support MMS, you will not be able to send photos or videos.

To view your MMS conversations, you must tap on the Messages button on the home screen. To reply to a MMS conversation, tap on the white text box at the bottom and use the onscreen keyboard to enter a response. To delete messages in the conversation, use your finger to tap on the Edit button and select the messages in the list and then choose delete.

To compose a new SMS message, tap on the icon located on the top right corner of the screen. In the New Message screen, type a phone number or pick a contact from the address book. If you can’t find the contact, you can type his name and it will return the details of the particular contact. Then, type the message by using the onscreen keyboard and choose send to SMS the message to the recipient.

Your MMS conversation can include videos, pictures, voice memo, contact info and map location. To view an image in the conversation, tap on it to display it in full screen. To save the image, tap on the lower left icon and then tap on the Save image button. If you want to send a picture to the other party, tap on the lower left icon. If you want to use an existing photo, tap on the Choose Existing button to pick one that is on your iPhone. If you want to take a new photo or video, choose the take photo or video button. You can also send a message along with the image. If you want to delete a conversation, select the conversation from the list and tap on the delete button.

iPhone makes your messages be like an ongoing conversation, so that you can easily pick up from where the conversation end. You will also have the ability to forward the messages to others. The smart on screen keyboard can give suggestions on the word as you input the character. The onscreen keyboard also has a built in dictionary.
